In an exciting new partnership, the International Water Association (IWA) and Water New Zealand are combining their bi-annual IWA-ASPIRE Conference and annual Water New Zealand Conference into a single, landmark event: The 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference and Water New Zealand Conference and Expo 2025. This collaboration creates a platform where international and New Zealand-based professionals, scientists, and experts can unite around shared goals and emerging themes.
Across five days, 20 – 24 October 2025 in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, this event will feature a robust program that includes:

Important Update: Date and Venue Change
On Friday, 7 February 2025, SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SkyCity), the owner of the New Zealand International Convention Centre, the intended venue for the 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference and Water New Zealand Conference & Expo 2025, announced that the opening of the venue has been delayed until February 2026.
The Water New Zealand Board considered possible alternative venues and dates for the 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference & Water New Zealand Conference & Expo. The new date will be Monday, 29 September to Friday 3, October 2025 (with exhibition pack-in day and preconference workshops on Monday, 29 September and site visits on Friday, 3 October), at the Te Pae Convention Centre and Christchurch Town Hall, in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand.
