In an exciting new partnership, the International Water Association (IWA) and Water New Zealand are combining their bi-annual IWA-ASPIRE Conference and annual Water New Zealand Conference into a single, landmark event: The 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference and Water New Zealand Conference and Expo 2025. This collaboration creates a platform where international and New Zealand-based professionals, scientists, and experts can unite around shared goals and emerging themes. 
Across five days, 20 – 24 October 2025 in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, this event will feature a robust program that includes:
•   20th -  Preconference Activities, Expo Pack-in and International Visitor Welcome function
•   21st - 23rd - Thought Leadership Sessions, Plenaries, Workshops, Expo, Technical Streams and Gala Dinners
•   24th - Site Visits

10th IWA Aspire Conference and Water New Zealand Conference and Expo

Important Update: Date and Venue Change

On Friday, 7 February 2025, SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SkyCity), the owner of the New Zealand International Convention Centre, the intended venue for the 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference and Water New Zealand Conference & Expo 2025, announced that the opening of the venue has been delayed until February 2026.

The Water New Zealand Board considered possible alternative venues and dates for the 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference & Water New Zealand Conference & Expo.  The new date will be Monday, 29 September to Friday 3, October 2025 (with exhibition pack-in day and preconference workshops on Monday, 29 September and site visits on Friday, 3 October), at the Te Pae Convention Centre and Christchurch Town Hall, in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand.

Water New Zealand chief executive Gillian Blythe and IWA New Zealand chair, Marion Savill as co-chairs of the 10th IWA-ASPIRE Conference and Water New Zealand Conference and Expo 2025 look forward to welcoming you to Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand.

 

Please note that we allocate stands in order of booking and payment received. 

 

The stand includes the following:


•          1x stand size 3m x 3m
•          2x stand personnel registrations
•          2x IWA-ASPIRE International Visitor Welcome function tickets (Monday, 20 October)
•          2x Combined Welcome function tickets (Tuesday, 21 October)
•          2x Cultural Dinner tickets (Wednesday, 22 October)

 

The price per stand is $NZ4,370.00 (approximately $USD2,500.00) including tax.

You MUST be a current member of IWA to exhibit at this expo. Payment The Exhibitor is required to make payment within 7 days of receiving an invoice to secure your stand. If payment is not received your stand will be released and can be rebooked by another exhibitor unless prior arrangement has been made with Avenues Event Management and Water New Zealand. Cancellation and Refunds If you wish to cancel your expo stand booking, this must be in writing. Cancellation received prior to Friday, 20 September will qualify for a full refund less an administration charge of $300.00 plus GST (per stand). Cancellation received after Friday, 20 September will qualify for a 50% refund if a replacement exhibitor is found for the cancelled expo stand less an administration charge of $300.00 plus GST (per stand).
